Defending champion Michael Smith has also been drawn in an eye-catching group, with the world number one to play James Wade, Krzysztof Ratajski and Nathan Girvan.
Beau Greaves, the 2022 WDF women's world champion, will go up against Nathan Aspinall, Damon Heta and Ricardo Pietreczko in Group H.
Former champion Gerwyn Price is another player to receive an exciting draw, with the Welshman provided with matches against Ryan Searle, Dutch starlet Gian van Veen and Nathan Rafferty.
Meanwhile, Luke Humphries and Gary Anderson will do battle in Group C, joined by Dirk van Duijvenbode and Steve Lennon.
Second seed Peter Wright faces arguably the toughest task of the seeds, as he has been drawn alongside in-form Dave Chisnall and Stephen Bunting, as well as American player Stowe Buntz.
Jonny Clayton will go up against Chris Dobey, Josh Rock and Berry van Peer, while Danny Noppert plays Andrew Gilding, Brendan Dolan and Haruki Muramatsu.
The group stages in Wolverhampton get underway on Saturday afternoon.
