Keegan Brown has continued his fine run at the Grand Slam of Darts with a stunning 10-7 victory over Raymond van Barneveld.
The World Youth finalist, who defeated Adrian Lewis during the group stages, averaged 109 in taking four of the first five legs before opening up a 9-3 advantage in the best-of-19 contest.
Van Barneveld registered four legs in a row as Brown missed five match darts, but the 22-year-old held his nerve to take out a 122 checkout to book his place in the quarter-finals.
Brown will play Dave Chisnall in the last eight after the St Helens thrower comfortably saw off the challenge of Robbie Green with a 10-3 win.
World number one Michael van Gerwen has overcome a below-par display to advance through to the quarter-finals with a 10-4 triumph over Terry Jenkins.
The 2014 PDC world champion will now face Kim Huybrechts, who got the better of Lakeside runner-up Alan Norris by a 10-5 scoreline.
