Michael van Gerwen has recorded a 7-3 win over Phil Taylor in Nottingham to regain top position in the Premier League table.
The world number one had been overtaken by Dave Chisnall after last week's draw with Peter Wright, but the Dutchman neared top form after registering a 107.61 to overcome the 16-time world champion.
Chisnall has dropped back to second spot after suffering a 7-3 defeat to the resurgent Stephen Bunting, while Gary Anderson moved ahead of Taylor in third with a 7-1 demolition of Adrian Lewis.
James Wade remains in contention for a top-four spot after he capitalised on missed doubles from defending champion Raymond van Barneveld to prevail by a 7-3 scoreline.
The other match of the night saw Wright claim his first win of the campaign with a 7-5 triumph over Kim Huybrechts.
