Sulley Muntari has claimed that AC Milan are heading in the right direction following their 2-2 draw with Roma.

Milan twice came from behind to claim a valuable point, and Muntari believes that the result has given his side a much needed boost in confidence.

"Roma were strong," he told Milan Channel. "We knew they would be, but I think we gained an important point.

"At the end we could have won, but I'm confident for the future. We are definitely on the right track."

Milan are currently 10th in the Serie A table.
