Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Molde

Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Thursday's Europa League Group B clash with Molde.

Arsenal could take control of Europa League Group B on Thursday night when they welcome Norwegian outfit Molde to the Emirates Stadium.

Both sides have won their opening two games of the group to sit level on six points apiece, with Arsenal leading the way courtesy of their superior goal difference.

Victory for either would be a giant stride towards reaching the knockout rounds of the competition, and the Gunners go into the contest off the back of a morale-boosting 1-0 win away to Manchester United.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

David Luiz

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: November 5 (vs. Molde)

David Luiz has missed the last two games after picking up a thigh injury against Leicester City last month, and he remains a major doubt for this match too.

Pablo Mari

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: November 21 (vs. Leeds United)

Pablo Mari has been absent since June but is now in the final stages of his recovery from an ankle injury and is expected to return to full training after this month's international break.

Calum Chambers

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Fitness
Possible return date: November 5 (vs. Molde)

Calum Chambers is now back in full training having not featured at all this calendar year. Mikel Arteta could see the Europa League as a chance to give him some much-needed match fitness, although considering the length of his absence this one could still come too soon.

Gabriel Martinelli

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Gabriel Martinelli has returned to light training but a comeback to first-team action is still some way away and the Brazilian will do well to be back available before 2021.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no suspension concerns for this Europa League fixture.
