Arsenal have reportedly identified Lukasz Piszczek as a possible transfer target should they fail to agree a new deal with Bacary Sagna before the end of the season.
Sagna has been locked in contract negotiations with the club for a number of months but little progress is believed to have been made between the two parties.
According to The Metro, Arsene Wenger would prefer to keep Sagna but Borussia Dortmund defender Piszczek, who could cost around £7m, has been considered as a replacement.
Piszczek, who is believed to be open to leaving the club, has reportedly attracted the interest of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
