Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly offered Layvin Kurzawa a four-year contract in a last-ditch attempt to fend off interest from Chelsea and Arsenal.
The France international's existing deal is due to expire at the end of the month, making him one of the hottest free agents ahead of the summer transfer window.
Chelsea and Arsenal have been tipped to move for Kurzawa, while La Liga giants Barcelona were also previously linked.
France Football claims that there has been another twist in the transfer saga, however, as PSG have now tabled a contract extension that runs through until 2024.
As things stand, the 27-year-old will play no further part in PSG's campaign, which resumes in August with a Champions League quarter-final tie.
Kurzawa has made 23 appearances for the Ligue 1 champions in all competitions this season.
