Former Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby has agreed to join Marseille despite interest from West Bromwich Albion, according to a report.
The 29-year-old was released by the Gunners at the end of the season after injuries had blighted his career with Arsene Wenger's men.
The Frenchman was said to be close to sealing a switch to the Baggies on a short-term switch in a pay-as-you-play deal following talks with Tony Pulis.
However, Diaby has now had a change of heart and has decided to move to the Ligue 1 team, reports French media outlet L'Equipe.
The midfielder played just two games for Arsenal in his final two seasons at the club.
