Aston Villa striker Emile Heskey has confessed that he would be willing to return to Leicester City.
The 33-year-old spent six seasons with the Foxes up until 2000 before leaving to join Liverpool.
When asked whether he could ever see himself representing the club again, Heskey failed to rule out the notion.
"Hypothetically, I would love to come back, so never say never - but my current loyalty obviously remains to Villa," he told the Leicester Mercury.
"Because I was born and raised in Leicester, and my family still live there, and it is the club where everything started for me, I can't say I will never go back.
"Who knows where football will take me. We will have to just wait and see, but I can't rule it out."
Heskey scored 40 league goals during his previous spell with Leicester.
