Report: Cesc Fabregas to start against Ajax

Barcelona's training session on Wednesday morning indicates that Cesc Fabregas will start in their Champions League clash with Ajax at the Camp Nou.

Cesc Fabregas is expected to start when Barcelona welcome Ajax to the Camp Nou for their Champions League opener this evening.

The former Arsenal midfielder started on the bench in the club's 3-2 win over Sevilla at the weekend, a result that ensured Barcelona continued their 100% start to the league season.

However, indications from the club's training session on Wednesday morning are that the Spanish international will line up in a midfield that contains Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta, with Xavi dropping to the bench.

Meanwhile, Alexis Sanchez, who hit the winner against Sevilla on Sunday, is expected to continue in attack at the expense of Pedro.
