Result: Bolton Wanderers 1-2 Norwich City

Paul Lambert's Norwich City win for the first time since their promotion to the Premier League.

Norwich City recorded their first win since being promoted to the Premier League with a 2-1 victory away at Bolton Wanderers this afternoon.

Both of the Canaries' goals came before the break courtesy of summer signings Anthony Pilkington and Bradey Johnson.

Bolton's cause was not helped when Ivan Klasnic was sent off on the stroke of half-time after a clash with Steve Morison.

Owen Coyle's Bolton did pull a goal back after the break through a Martin Petrov penalty, but they were unable to find an equaliser.

Norwich will take on Sunderland in their next Premier League match on Monday, September 26, with Bolton travelling to Arsenal two days earlier.
