Sports Mole looks at how Manchester United could line up for their FA Cup fourth round tie at home to Leicester City on Friday.

Manchester United's new signing Patrick Dorgu could make his debut for the club in their FA Cup fourth round tie at home to Leicester City on Friday night.

Dorgu arrived from Lecce last week and was introduced to the Old Trafford crowd before their defeat to Crystal Palace on Sunday.

While Diogo Dalot was sent off in the third round against Arsenal, he served his suspension against Southampton a few days later in the league, so following Lisandro Martinez's season-ending injury, there could be a shuffling of the pack in defence.

Dorgu's arrival may allow Dalot to play more often on his favoured right side, with Noussair Mazraoui also capable of playing in the back three behind him, and in a game where manager Ruben Amorim needs his side to be on the front foot, he may go with a more offensive XI.

That may also include a recognised striker, after Amorim left Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee on the bench last weekend, preferring Kobbie Mainoo in a false nine role.

Amorim is unlikely to try that again, even though Hojlund has gone 13 games without a goal, and Zirkzee 11, but no striker arrived on deadline day, meaning the Man United boss will have to deal with what he has got.

Marcus Rashford left for Aston Villa, and while Alejandro Garnacho has stayed, he is no longer a regular, with Amad Diallo and Bruno Fernandes set to start either side of the central striker.

Fernandes has an excellent FA Cup record, as his goal in the third round against Arsenal took him to 10 goal involvements in 10 games, scoring seven.

Altay Bayindir was the hero at the Emirates though, saving a penalty from Martin Odegaard in normal time before denying Kai Havertz in the shootout, and the Turkish stopper is set to start over Andre Onana here.

On the injury list, Martinez will be joined by Luke Shaw, Mason Mount and Jonny Evans on the sidelines, after the Argentine defender was ruled out for the season this week with an ACL injury.

Manchester United possible starting lineup:
Bayindir; Mazraoui, Maguire, De Ligt; Dalot, Ugarte, Mainoo, Dorgu; Amad, Hojlund, Fernandes
