Didier Drogba confirms Chelsea exit

Didier Drogba confirms his departure from Chelsea for the second time.

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has confirmed that he will leave the club for a second time.

The 37-year-old re-signed for the Blues last summer having originally left in 2012 after an eight-year spell.

Drogba's last game will come against Sunderland this afternoon, while the Premier League trophy presentation will also take place at Stamford Bridge after the match.

He told the club's official website: "I want to play for at least one more season and in order to play more football I feel I need to go to another club.

"All the fans know my love for Chelsea and I hope to be back here in the future in another role."

The Ivorian has featured for Chelsea 27 times in the league this season, scoring four goals.
