Match of the Day pundit Mark Lawrenson has branded Didier Drogba's performance in Chelsea's 1-0 win over Barcelona as "embarrassing".
The 34-year-old scored the winning goal in first-half stoppage time, but he has since been widely criticised for perceived playacting and time-wasting during the game on Wednesday night.
"It was embarrassing at times," Lawrenson told The Mirror. "Even the goal came in Drogba time because that had been added on largely because of his time wasting."
Lawrenson's comments echo those of Robbie Savage, who accused Drogba of "theatrics".
