Player Ratings: Chelsea 1-3 Liverpool

Sports Mole rates the individual performances of the players involved in Liverpool's 3-1 win over Chelsea.

Chelsea slipped to their sixth defeat in the Premier League this season as Liverpool came from behind to secure a 3-1 win at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

Ramires headed in for the home side less than four minutes after kickoff, but the visitors were level at half time after Philippe Coutinho netted the equaliser.

Coutinho put Liverpool ahead for the first time after the break before Christian Benteke sealed the team's first Premier League win under Jurgen Klopp late on.

Here, Sports Mole rates the performances of the players involved.

Goal

Asmir Begovic: Begovic was the busier of the two keepers, and was not aided by a couple of deflections from his defenders. It would be unfair to blame the keeper for any of Liverpool's goals, and he did make numerous first-half saves. (6/10)

Defence

Kurt Zouma: Zouma struggled at times, losing out in the air to Lucas in the first half, while leaving too much space during the second spell. (4/10)

Gary Cahill: Cahill had a mixed day at the back, making a couple of vital blocks early on, before being lucky not to turn the ball into his own net on a couple of occasions after the break (5/10)

John Terry: Terry looked a bit off the pace throughout, failing to close down Coutinho to prevent his first goal, while the Brazilian's second took a deflection off the captain. (4/10)

Cesar Azpilicueta: Azpilicueta got forward to help set up the Chelsea goal, but he struggled after the break before being replaced with 20 minutes to go. (5/10)

Midfield

Ramires: Ramires made an immediate impact, heading in just a couple of minutes after kickoff, and continued to work hard in midfield throughout. (7/10)

Oscar: The Brazilian worked hard throughout, running at the Liverpool box constantly, while also helping out in defence, and he came close to scoring from more than 45 yards out. (7/10)

Eden Hazard: Hazard continues to look a shadow of his 2014-15 self, rarely seeing the ball in the box before being replaced after less than an hour. (5/10)

John Obi Mikel: Mikel was fairly anonymous in the first half before seeing more of the ball after the break, but he was replaced by Cesc Fabregas late on. (5/10)

Willian: Willian's free kicks continued to pose a threat for the home side, but he struggled when called upon defensively. (6/10)

Attack

Diego Costa: Costa spent more time tangling with Martin Skrtel than he did eyeing the Liverpool goal, and will be lucky if he escapes retrospective action for kicking out at the defender. (4/10)

Substitutes

Kenedy: Added some much-needed pace to the Chelsea attack, but the youngster was limited as the home side struggled to win the ball back in the final 20 minutes. (7/10)

Radamel Falcao: Falcao got into the box a couple of times, but was unable to force a save from Mignolet. (6/10)

Cesc Fabregas: Fabregas came on late on to try to get Chelsea back into the match, but had to play a more defensive role as Liverpool continued to dominate possession. (5/10)

LIVERPOOL

Goal

Simon Mignolet: The goalkeeper was left exposed by his defenders early on, but pulled off a decent save to deny Oscar a second for Chelsea in the second half. (7/10)

Defence

Nathaniel Clyne: Clyne looked sharp bringing the ball out from the back, working well with Milner, but wasted a couple of opportunities with some poor finishing. (6/10)

Mamadou Sakho: Sakho was caught out with the footwork of Oscar and Ramires and couple of times, but put in an otherwise solid performance at the back. (6/10)

Alberto Moreno: Moreno had a shocker early on to gift Chelsea the opening goal, but made amends with some promising runs forward later on. (6/10)

Martin Skrtel: Skrtel was probably the pick of the defenders for the visitors, regularly getting back to fill a gap left by one of his teammates, while keeping Costa quiet throughout. (7/10)

Midfield

James Milner: Milner kept trying to get the ball in the box in the first half before appearing to tire after the break before being replaced by Benteke. (6/10)

Lucas: Lucas was as committed as ever in midfield, working hard to win the ball back for the visitors, although he was lucky not to pick up a second yellow card late on. (7/10)

Emre Can: Can made a couple of sloppy challenges, twice giving Chelsea free kicks in promising position, but he showed good pace getting forward. (6/10)

Adam Lallana: Playing further forward than is typical, Lallana proved a handful in the box on more than one occasion, forcing a couple of saves from Begovic in the first half. (7/10)

Attack

Roberto Firmino: Firmino is still getting used to the Premier League, and he struggled to get on the end of a number of balls in from Milner and Clyne, before being taken off early, but he worked hard to try to set chances up down the left. (6/10)

Philippe Coutinho: Coutinho made the difference for Liverpool, producing two brilliant finishes to put the visitors ahead after the break, while continuing to push as full time approached. (8/10)

Substitutes

Christian Benteke: The striker played almost half an hour, and set up Coutinho's second before coolly netting the team's third late on. (8/10)

Jordon Ibe: Ibe only featured for 15 minutes, but his pace made an impact as he set up Benteke for the third Liverpool goal. (7/10)

Dejan Lovren: The defender was only sent on in stoppage time, and didn't have a chance to make an impact. (5/10)
