Chelsea and West Ham United have reached a verbal agreement over the transfer of Kurt Zouma, according to a report.
David Moyes has been eager to bolster his defensive options throughout the summer and the Frenchman has been a long-term target.
Zouma has seen his gametime reduced by Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea have placed a £26m price tag on him, which the Hammers are reportedly happy to meet.
However, The Athletic states that the deal is stalling over the 26-year-old's wage demands, as he is said to be seeking a significant salary increase from the £125,000 per week he is currently earning at Stamford Bridge.
That would easily make him the highest-paid player in West Ham's squad and the report states that chiefs at the London Stadium "are pushing hard to find an amicable solution".
Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with a move for Zouma this summer, with the defender reportedly keen to stay in London.
Zouma has made 151 appearances for Chelsea since signing in 2014, and has also spent time on loan at Saint-Etienne, Stoke City and Everton.
