Chelsea will reportedly swoop for Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski should they fail to bring Edinson Cavani to Stamford Bridge.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho has held talks with Napoli about the Uruguay international, but is likely to lose out on his signature to Real Madrid.
The London outfit are ready to offer Lewandowski £170,000 a week to join them should Cavani opt for a move to Spain, according to The Mirror.
Chelsea face stiff competition from Manchester City for the Polish international's services, while Manchester United have also been linked with him.
Lewandowski's preferred destination is believed to be Bayern Munich, but Dortmund are reportedly opposed to selling him to a rival club.
