Antonio Rudiger will remain at Chelsea despite Roma reviving their interest in the central defender, according to a report.
The Italian club are rumoured to have made a fresh approach for Rudiger after failing to reach an agreement with Manchester United over Chris Smalling.
However, The Telegraph claims that the Germany international is not expected to depart Stamford Bridge before Monday evening's 11pm deadline.
That decision could have a knock-on effect, though, as Fikayo Tomori may now be allowed to depart, with Everton previously showing an interest - albeit before they brought in Ben Godfrey from Norwich City.
The newspaper also claims that Ruben Loftus-Cheek remains hopeful of finding a new club on loan in the coming hours, with Fulham his most likely destination.
