Chelsea are reportedly set to re-enter the hunt for Leicester City goalkeeper Mads Hermansen over the summer.
The Dane is currently on the sidelines in the East Midlands owing to a groin injury, meaning that he has not featured since before Christmas.
Hermansen has been a major part of Leicester's success over the past 18 months, representing a reliable pair of hands in between the sticks as the Foxes secured promotion to the Premier League last term.
Despite keeping just the single clean sheet across 16 top-flight matches this campaign, the 24-year-old has impressed for a side who are battling to avoid an immediate return to the Championship.
Following a shock victory at Tottenham Hotspur last time out, Ruud van Nistelrooy's troops have moved up to 17th in the Premier League table, one point ahead of Wolverhampton Wanderers in 18th.

Chelsea to re-enter race for Leicester goalkeeper Hermansen?
According to Leicester Mercury, the Foxes could face serious difficulty in retaining their first-choice goalkeeper past the conclusion of the campaign.
The report states that Chelsea are expected to fight for the services of the towering Dane once again, after missing out on his signature last summer.
Blues head coach Enzo Maresca is well aware of Hermansen's talents, managing the youngster at Leicester last campaign as they lifted the Championship title.
While a January move to Stamford Bridge for the shot-stopper is not on the cards, the possibility of the 'keeper switching over the summer remains a distinct one.
Missing each of Leicester's last eight matches, Hermansen is expected back on the pitch sometime in February following his troubling groin issue.

Is Hermansen an upgrade on Sanchez?
While current Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez has kept four clean sheets in the Premier League as opposed to Hermansen's one, such comparisons are hardly fair considering that the Spaniard plays for a stronger outfit.
Tellingly, the 27-year-old has made five errors leading the goals so far during the 2024-25 campaign, more than any other player in the Premier League.
Looking to take Chelsea into the category of title challengers in the near future, Maresca is seeking solutions to iron out defensive lapses, meaning that Hermansen could replace Sanchez in West London over the summer.
