Coventry City will reportedly appoint their new manager next week, with four names understood to be on the shortlist.
Keith Curle, Paul Dickov and former boss Eric Black are all in the picture, according to BBC Sport, as the club attempt to replace Mark Robins, who departed for Huddersfield Town three weeks ago.
Development director Steve Waggott has also hinted that caretaker manager Lee Carsley could be the fourth name on the list.
"We have kept all of the shortlisted candidates informed. And we have kept Lee Carsley fully briefed too because that is the right and proper thing to do," Waggott told reporters.
"The important thing is that, whoever is manager of the club between now and the end of the season, they have the best possible squad available to make it a successful one."
Coventry currently sit in ninth position in the League One table.
