Everton 'lining up £200m naming rights deal for new stadium'

Everton reportedly agree a 10-year deal worth £200m for naming rights to their proposed new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium.

Everton reportedly have a naming rights deal worth £200m 'ready to go' for their proposed new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.

The Toffees have announced plans to move to the new ground ahead of the 2023-24 season, leaving Goodison Park after a 131-year stay at the famous stadium.

The Daily Mail reports that Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov's USM company have all-but agreed a 10-year deal for naming rights which would see Everton pocket £200m.

USM has already paid the club £30m for the option of becoming their main sponsor this year, while they also sponsor the Toffees' Finch Farm training ground.

As things stand, the deal would see Everton earn the third-highest sum per season from stadium naming rights at an average of £20m a year.

Only Manchester United and Manchester City earn more per season based on 2018-19 figures, with Everton set to move ahead of the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.
