Everton are reportedly stepping up their search for a playmaker and could turn to Dynamo Kiev's Andriy Yarmolenko.
Blues boss Roberto Martinez saw the Ukraine international first-hand when he scored in Dynamo's 5-2 Europa League win against the Toffees last season.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton have been alerted to the possibility of taking the Kiev vice-captain to Goodison Park.
Martinez is known to be an admirer of Yarmolenko and the 25-year-old is thought to be keen on playing in the Premier League.
Stoke City were believed to be considering a move for the Ukrainian, but their capture of Xherdan Shaqiri has apparently led to their interest in the midfielder cooling.
Everton picked up their first win of the season away to Southampton on Saturday.
