Everton's Bryan Oviedo expected to be fit for Costa Rica's World Cup campaign

Everton manager Roberto Martinez expects Bryan Oviedo to be fit for Costa Rica's World Cup campaign after breaking his leg in January.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that Bryan Oviedo should be fit for Costa Rica's campaign at this summer's World Cup in Brazil.

The 24-year-old was a doubt for the global tournament after suffering a double leg fracture back in January, but Martinez has insisted that the player is ahead of schedule in his recovery.

"Bryan is doing really well," BBC Sport quotes Martinez as saying. "He is back in Costa Rica and working with the national team. He is well ahead of the time we expected for his recovery."

Meanwhile, Martinez has dismissed reports that Manchester United are in talks to sign Seamus Coleman this summer.
