Daniele Prade: 'Defeat harsh on Fiorentina'

Fiorentina's director of football bemoans the harsh defeat to Inter Milan.

Fiorentina director of sport Daniele Prade has insisted that the 2-1 defeat to Inter Milan on Thursday night was harsh on his team.

Prade said that he was pleased with how Fiorentina played, but that there is no accounting for late winners in games that can go either way.

"We imposed our own game on them, but this is all part of the game," he told Radio Blu. "We have to take this defeat on the chin and respond on the pitch.

"We have another game [against Parma] on Monday. This is a setback for us, but only in terms of the result, not in general."

Fiorentina are fifth in the early Serie A table.
