Hull City have reportedly identified PSV Eindhoven defender Jordy de Wijs as a potential summer signing.
The Tigers only finished in 19th place in the Championship last season, but boss Nigel Adkins is looking to put together a squad capable of challenging for the playoffs during the next campaign.
Eric Lichaj has already arrived from Nottingham Forest and according to Hull Live, the club are looking to bring in Netherlands Under-21 international De Wijs.
The 23-year-old has spent two loan spells at Excelsior, and PSV are prepared to part ways with the centre-back this summer with De Wijs having not made the breakthrough in the first team.
Hull are said to be keen to push through a deal before the weekend in order to include De Wijs on their pre-season trip to Portugal.
