Former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel has reportedly put himself in the running for the vacant manager's role at Leicester City.
The Foxes have been looking for a new boss since sacking Nigel Pearson two weeks ago.
Schmeichel, who played for United between 1991 and 1999, has never held the position of manager before.
According to Sky Sports News, the Dane has made it clear that he is keen on the Leicester job.
The 51-year-old could end up managing his son, Kasper Schmeichel, who is the first-choice goalkeeper at the King Power Stadium.
Marseille boss Marcelo Bielsa has also been linked with the role at Leicester.
