Napoli are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet as Pepe Reina's potential replacement.

Napoli are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.

The 29-year-old recently suggested that he is considering his future at Anfield after losing his number one spot to Loris Karius.

Mignolet, who has not played since the Reds' 2-1 victory over Burnley on New Year's Day, made the claims after being snubbed in last weekend's dramatic 4-3 triumph over Manchester City.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Napoli have now taken an interest in Mignolet, who has been identified as a replacement for Pepe Reina.

The Spaniard's contract at the Serie A outfit is due to expire at the end of the season.
