Joe Hart: "Sevilla made it difficult for us"

Joe Hart pays tribute to Sevilla after the La Liga side come within seconds of holding Manchester City to a draw in the Champions League.

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has praised Sevilla after the Spanish side came within seconds of holding Manuel Pellegrini's team to a draw in their Champions League Group D encounter at the Etihad Stadium this evening.

Kevin De Bruyne's goal in second-half injury time gave the Citizens a 2-1 win and ensured that they remain on course for the quarter-finals.

"Sevilla have earned the right to be in this competition and they made it difficult for us. They would have been happy with a draw but Kevin has found a fine finish to win us the game," Hart told BBC Sport.

"We are working hard as a team. We are attacking so we know we will leave it short at the back at times."

Manchester City's next fixture in the competition is away against Sevilla on November 3.
