Kevin De Bruyne ready for 'must-win' game against Borussia Monchengladbach

Kevin De Bruyne says that tonight's Champions League tie against Borussia Monchengladbach is a 'must win' for Manchester City.

Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has spoken of the importance of gaining maximum points from tonight's Group D clash against Borussia Monchengladbach.

City, who lost 2-1 to Juventus in their opening Champions League game, are favourites to beat tonight's opponents.

The German outfit have recorded six defeats in a row in all competitions so far this season, but De Bruyne, who played against Monchengladbach last season while at Wolfsburg, refuses to be complacent.

"It's a game we need to win," FourFourTwo quotes De Bruyne as saying. "Gladbach were doing very badly this season.

"I knew them last year and they were one of the best footballing teams in Germany and were doing really well, but they lost a couple of players and were struggling a little bit at the start. So I don't think they will attack a lot in the beginning of our game and will try to keep the 0-0."

City are currently third in Group D.
