Ivan Rakitic, Javier Mascherano to return against Manchester City?

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique is expected to recall Ivan Rakitic and Javier Mascherano to his XI for Tuesday's last-16 Champions League clash against Manchester City.

Ivan Rakitic and Javier Mascherano will both reportedly return to the Barcelona XI for Tuesday's last-16 Champions League clash away to Manchester City.

The pair sat out Saturday's 1-0 defeat at home to Malaga, with Jeremy Mathieu and Rafinha both coming into the side for the La Liga clash.

However, according to AS, Barca boss Luis Enrique will recall Rakitic and Mascherano for the European affair, with the former starting in central midfield and the latter lining up alongside Gerard Pique at centre-back.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen is expected to feature in goal, meanwhile, with the German maintaining his position as Barca's cup stopper.
