Manchester City are reportedly prepared to offer Pep Guardiola a pay rise to extend his contract beyond the end of next season.
The Man City boss has overseen a remarkable period of success since arriving at the Etihad Stadium in the summer of 2016.
Guardiola has led the club to six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, three EFL Cups, a Champions League, a UEFA Super Cup, a Club World Cup and two Community Shields.
Last month, Guardiola celebrated a fourth consecutive Premier League title, before experiencing disappointment in the FA Cup final against Manchester United.
It was then reported that Guardiola has decided to end his trophy-laden stay when his contract expires at the end of the 2024-25 campaign.

Man City ready to offer Guardiola signicant pay increase
However, Man City are not ready to give up hope of persuading the former Barcelona manager to remain in his post at the Etihad Stadium.
According to The Mirror, the Premier League champions are willing to offer Guardiola a significant increase on his current £20m salary.
Man City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak has supposedly promised to do everything in his power to extend Guardiola's contract with the club.
The Citizens are also concerned that the club's director of football Txiki Begiristain will leave when Guardiola decides to depart.

Could the Club World Cup influence Guardiola's decision?
As well as offering Guardiola an economic incentive, Man City are hoping that the chance to manage the club at next year's expanded Club World Cup could play a role in his decision.
Guardiola may view the competition as a fresh challenge, with the 32-team competition set to take place in the USA next summer.
With Guardiola's contract set to expire in the middle of the Club World Cup, Man City would likely want to appoint a new manager before the tournament if the Catalan decides against renewing his deal.
Guardiola has previously won the competition on five occasions during his managerial career, including his most recent success in the 2023 edition.
