Atletico Madrid are reportedly considering making an attempt to re-sign Sergio Aguero from Manchester City during this summer's transfer window.
The news that City have been banned from European competition for the next two years could allegedly see Aguero seek pastures new at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
Real Madrid are thought to be weighing up an approach for the 31-year-old, but according to AS, Atletico are also keeping a close eye on developments surrounding the attacker.
Aguero scored 100 goals in 230 appearances for Atletico between 2006 and 2011 before moving to England, where he has become City's all-time leading goalscorer with 252 in all competitions.
The Argentina international has previously expressed a desire to return to former club Independente before the end of his career, although the report claims that he could be tempted by a switch to Spain.
Aguero has netted 21 times in 25 outings for City during the current season.
