Three-way transfer tussle emerges as Arsenal 'make contact' over £43.6m Kean deal

Arsenal are reportedly one of three Premier League teams to make 'initial contact' over a summer deal for Fiorentina striker Moise Kean.
The Gunners decided not to pursue a new centre-forward in January despite Gabriel Jesus's season-ending ACL injury, a move that backfired horribly when Kai Havertz was ruled out for the rest of the campaign with a hamstring issue.
Also lamenting the absence of chief creator Bukayo Saka, Arsenal have scored just twice in their last four Premier League games and find themselves 12 points behind Liverpool with just nine games remaining.
With the Premier League title race more or less a foregone conclusion, Arsenal's best chance of success this season rests in the Champions League, where they are preparing for a blockbuster quarter-final with Real Madrid next month.
Bridges could be burnt as Man United 'suddenly chase' ex-City midfielder

Manchester United have reportedly made a shock move to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder and former Manchester City academy product Felix Nmecha.
Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim has failed to find the optimal midfield formula so far this season, and the club are believed to be hoping to part ways with the experienced Casemiro at the end of the term.
The ex-Real Madrid man was recently name-checked by Sir Jim Ratcliffe as one of Man United's transfer mistakes, although he is supposedly planning to stay for the final year of his contract next season.
Meanwhile, Kobbie Mainoo's future is not set in stone either, as his sale could generate a significant profit to help Man United comply with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability regulations.
It's official! Chelsea sign Sporting duo as transfer fees, loan agreements confirmed

Sporting Lisbon have confirmed that they have reached a double agreement with Chelsea for the transfers of youngsters Geovany Quenda and Dario Essugo.
Over the past week, the West London giants have unexpectedly moved to wrap up deals for the duo under the noses of their rivals, firstly striking an agreement to sign Manchester United-linked Quenda.
The teenage wing-back was inevitably linked with a move to Old Trafford to reunite with Ruben Amorim, but after the Red Devils failed to formalise their initial interest, Chelsea swooped in.
Having shaken hands with Sporting and Quenda's camp on a 2026 transfer, Chelsea also struck an agreement to sign defensive midfielder Essugo, who is currently plying his trade on loan at Las Palmas.
