Aston Villa are reportedly unaware of any Manchester City interest in talisman Jack Grealish.
The England international was the subject of a protracted transfer saga involving both Manchester clubs last year, but he instead elected to commit his future to Dean Smith's side until 2025.
Despite some injury problems, Grealish enjoyed another stellar Premier League campaign with six goals and 12 assists in 26 appearances, and rumours regarding his future have resurfaced again.
Man City are thought to be eyeing a £100m swoop for the Villa captain, but Birmingham Live reports that the West Midlands club are not aware of the Premier League champions' supposed interest.
The report claims that Villa have not put a valuation on the 25-year-old, but the club's owners are making contingency plans in the event that Grealish does depart.
Manchester United were heavily tipped to make a move for Grealish last year, but the Red Devils' priority for the upcoming window is a deal for Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho.
Chelsea have been linked with a move for the Villa man in recent weeks, though, and he will be eyeing a start when England face the Czech Republic in their final Euro 2020 group game on Tuesday.
