Bayern Munich allegedly put a valuation of £51.7m on Joshua Kimmich amid reports of interest from the Premier League.

Bayern Munich have reportedly put a valuation of €60m (£51.7m) on Joshua Kimmich amid claims that the midfielder will move to the Premier League during this summer's transfer window.

The 29-year-old has again been a vital player for the Munich giants this season, making 31 appearances in all competitions, scoring once and providing eight assists in the process.

Kimmich only has a contract at Allianz Arena until next June, though, and he is allegedly keen to leave at the end of the campaign in search of a fresh challenge.

Manchester City and Liverpool are said to lead the Premier League interest, but Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United have also been linked with his signature.

According to Fichajes, Bayern are open to a summer sale but would want €60m (£51.7m) to let him leave.

German journalist Florian Plettenberg has also claimed that Real Madrid and Barcelona are interested in signing the Germany international during the summer market.

Kimmich spent time in the youth systems of Stuttgart and RB Leipzig and went on to represent the latter's first team on 55 occasions ahead of his switch to Bayern in January 2015.

The midfielder has turned out for his current side on 378 occasions in all competitions, scoring 41 goals and registering 102 assists in the process.

Kimmich has won an incredible 20 trophies during his time at Bayern, including eight Bundesliga titles and the Champions League, and the team are chasing two more titles this term.

Bayern will take on Arsenal in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, while they are second in the Bundesliga table, 10 points behind the leaders Bayer Leverkusen.

Thomas Tuchel's side will return to league action against Borussia Dortmund next weekend, before taking on Heidenheim in the league ahead of a trip to Arsenal for the first leg of their European Cup quarter-final.

Kimmich has made 20 appearances for Bayern in the Bundesliga during the 2023-24 campaign, and he has provided two assists in his last two league outings against Mainz 05 and SV Darmstadt 98.

Earlier this month, the midfielder said that he was "relaxed" when it comes to his future.

Kimmich is currently with the Germany squad preparing for the friendlies with France and the Netherlands, with the national team building towards Euro 2024.
