Manchester United reportedly register an interest in Willian, who is expected to leave Chelsea on a free transfer later in 2020.

Chelsea winger Willian has allegedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Manchester United.

Despite wanting to remain at Stamford Bridge past the end of the season, Willian is being allowed to depart the Blues on a free transfer at the end of his contract

Tottenham Hotspur have previously been linked with an approach for the Brazilian, who played under Jose Mourinho during the Portuguese's second spell at Chelsea.

However, according to France Football, the 31-year-old may be provided with the opportunity to move to Old Trafford.

The report suggests that club officials have made it known to agent Kia Joorabchian that they are considering making a bid for the playmaker in the coming weeks.

Although United have been heavily linked with a big-money offer for Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho, the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic may lead to the North-West outfit opting against shelling out in the region of £100m at this time.
