Manchester United bid £36.3m for Monaco forward Anthony Martial?

Manchester United are reportedly in talks with Monaco regarding a £36.3m bid for 19-year-old striker Anthony Martial.

Manchester United have reportedly launched a £36.3m offer for AS Monaco forward Anthony Martial.

The Premier League giants are believed to be desperate to sign an attacking talent prior to the transfer window shutting tomorrow evening.

While the likes of Gareth Bale, Neymar and Thomas Muller have been named as potential targets, French news outlet RMC Sport have reported that United are in talks with Monaco over the capture of 19-year-old Martial.

The France Under-21 international, who signed a new contract with the Ligue 1 side in June, scored eight goals in 31 league appearances last season.

In terms of first-team strikers, United manager Louis van Gaal has Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez and young James Wilson at his disposal.
