Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly wants to bring two new faces to Old Trafford before the transfer window shuts on October 5.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly hoping to welcome two more signings to Old Trafford before the transfer window closes on October 5.

The Red Devils endured a torrid opening fixture of the 2020-21 Premier League campaign, with Crystal Palace running out 3-1 winners at Old Trafford last weekend.

United have since cruised past Luton Town in the EFL Cup, but Solskjaer is supposedly keen to bolster the ranks at Old Trafford as the season gathers pace.

According to the Evening Standard, the United manager is still desperate to get a deal for Jadon Sancho over the line, despite Borussia Dortmund insisting that the 20-year-old will not be sold this summer.

United have also been linked with a move for Porto left-back Alex Telles, while highly-rated centre-backs Kalidou Koulibaly and Dayot Upamecano are being tipped to move to Old Trafford to solve United's defensive problems.

With Victor Lindelof coming under criticism for his performance in the defeat to Palace, Solskjaer has hinted that Eric Bailly could be recalled to the side for United's clash with Brighton & Hove Albion at Saturday lunchtime.
