Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hints at Alexis Sanchez return

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer suggests that Alexis Sanchez, who is currently on loan at Inter Milan, could continue his career at Old Trafford next season.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has suggested that he plans to keep Alexis Sanchez at Old Trafford next season.

After a hugely disappointing 18-month period with United, Sanchez was loaned out to Inter Milan last summer in a bid to rediscover his best form.

Due to an injury sustained during the early weeks of his stint at the San Siro, the 31-year-old has been restricted to just three starts and four substitute outings in all competitions.

However, despite his lack of game time, Solskjaer has seemingly backed up a recent report which suggests that the Chile international is due back at United next season.

At a press conference, Solskjaer told reporters: "Alexis will come back in the summer and prove you all wrong."

Sanchez has two-and-a-half years remaining on his United contract.
