Norwich City manager Alex Neil has advised Nathan Redmond not to leave the club this summer.
In recent months the England Under-21 international has been linked with a host of clubs, including Southampton and Stoke City.
However, despite the speculation, Neil has insisted that the "best place" for the 21-year-old at this stage of his career is Carrow Road.
"Nathan is young and I just think why would he want to go anywhere else when he is playing games here?" Neil told the Eastern Daily Press.
"If he gets to the stage where he needs to move on to further himself then I am sure that will come, but at the present moment this is the best place for him. There is no reason for him to go anywhere else."
Redmond, who joined the Canaries from Birmingham City in 2013, has scored five goals in his last six club appearances.
