Ryan Boot leaves Port Vale on loan

Port Vale goalkeeper Ryan Boot joins non-league Worcester on a one-month loan deal.

Port Vale goalkeeper Ryan Boot has joined non-league outfit Worcester on a one-month loan deal.

The 19-year-old, who is highly regarded at the club, came through the ranks at Vale Park after being released from Premier League side Stoke City three years ago.

The stopper has been earmarked for a future first-team role after signing a new two-year deal in the summer, but has been sent on loan to gain regular football.

Boot is currently third choice at the League One outfit.
