Paris Saint-Germain have announced that Pablo Sarabia has joined Sporting Lisbon on loan for the 2021-22 season.
The announcement came mere moments after PSG confirmed the signing of Sporting left-back Nuno Mendes, who joined Mauricio Pochettino's side on loan with an option to buy for €40m (£34.3m).
However, Sarabia has struggled for regular starts over the likes of Angel Di Maria and Neymar at PSG and has now moved in the opposite direction to Mendes until the summer of 2022.
The 29-year-old arrived at the Parc des Princes from Sevilla in the summer of 2019 and has gone on to make 79 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 22 goals and setting up 12 more.
Sarabia also caught the eye at Euro 2020 with two goals and two assists in five games for Spain, and he remains contracted to PSG until the summer of 2024.
