Marco Verratti has revealed that he and his teammates all want Zlatan Ibrahimovic to stay at Paris Saint-Germain, amid rumours that the Swedish striker is on his way out of the club.
Ibrahmovic is in the last year of his contract with the club and has been linked with moves to the English, Turkish and Italian leagues, with the striker himself admitting that he wants to play in the MLS at some point in the future.
The Italian midfielder says that he wants the Swede to stay put but understands why he is a wanted man.
"Whether you like him or not, Ibrahimovic is an extraordinary player," the Italy international told Sport Mediaset.
"If we've won almost everything in France, then we owe a lot of that to him. He's helped PSG grow, and we're proud to have him with us.
"We hope that he'll stay. Of course, when you're a champion like him it's normal that you'll be linked with the top European clubs in every transfer window."
Ibrahimovic has been linked with a return to his former club AC Milan, but PSG have ruled out a move for the striker.
