Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Robert Green has backed Chris Ramsey to stay on as manager beyond the end of the season.
Ramsey was recently placed in charge of the side until the summer following Harry Redknapp's shock departure.
Green believes that the 52-year-old will be given the job on a full-time basis at Loftus Road should he keep QPR in the Premier League.
"If he comes in and we get the results that we need and we survive, then there's no better dress rehearsal, no better audition for it," the shot-stopper told Sky Sports News.
"He would focus purely on the here and now but the motivation is there for him as well as everybody else. The lads are fully behind him and we want to do well for him so, in that respect, why not?"
QPR continue their fight for Premier League survival on Saturday when they travel to fellow strugglers Hull City.
