Former Hearts duo Craig Beattie and Ian Black are reportedly taking part in pre-season training with Rangers.
Both players are currently free agents following their release from Tannadice Park at the end of last season.
Midfielder Black has already agreed to join the Gers, while centre-forward Beattie is preparing to hold discussions with manager Ally McCoist over the next couple of days, according to Sky Sports News.
However, neither player can sign a contract with the club until their place in the Scottish Third Division has been confirmed.
Former Derby County winger Gary Teale is also thought to be keen on a switch to Ibrox.
