Cristiano Ronaldo says that Real Madrid are concentrating on winning the Champions League this season.

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he and his side are focussed on winning the Champions League this season.

The La Liga champions travel to Manchester City on Wednesday night, when a win will all but seal their progression to the knockout stages of the tournament.

Madrid are currently eight points behind Barcelona in La Liga, but Ronaldo says that his side are concentrating on European success this term.

"Everything is focused on winning the Champions League," Ronaldo told The Sun. "You can feel it everywhere, even in the street because everyone knows we're close to winning the club's 10th European Cup.

"It's my dream to win the Champions League again too. It'll come this year or next year but we have to stay calm."

Ronaldo won the Champions League back in 2008 with Manchester United.
