Rotherham United have signed Adam Collin and Richard Brindley on free transfers.
Goalkeeper Collin, 28, who was released by Carlisle United last month, has put pen to paper on a two-year contract at the New York Stadium.
Meanwhile, former Chesterfield right-back Richard Brindley, 20, has also committed to the Millers for the next two seasons.
"There was a bit of interest from League One and the SPL," Collin told Rotherham's official website.
"But I've chosen to come here because it's a club on the up with a great set-up at the training ground and the stadium."
Collin made 133 league appearances during four seasons at Carlisle.
