Scotland boss Gordon Strachan has revealed that he has altered his team to face England because his players are desperate to feature at Celtic Park.
Strachan admitted that he was planning to ring the changes from his side that defeated the Republic of Ireland on Friday in their Euro 2016 qualifier, but has been forced to change his mind by his players' desire to face the Three Lions.
He told reporters: "I had an idea of the team I was going to play a couple of days ago but the players that played the other night keep banging on that they are fit enough to play again. They're dropping hints everywhere I go.
"They're saying two games in the space of a few days is no problem. A wee bit of that is because it's this fixture. We're only human. If someone said to us we are playing some team that's 70-odd in the rankings, we wouldn't be as excited around this table, all of us.
"We only want real, competitive games. This is a competitive game for different reasons, even if there are no points available. I need to rethink my strategy, I think, because they're desperate to play. From the training today, nobody wanted to be rested, that's for sure."
Scotland face off against Roy Hodgson's men later today.
