Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has said that it is "just a question of time" until midfielder Luka Modric completes his move to Real Madrid.
However, the Portuguese insists that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will not be rushed into finalising the deal.
"At the moment we have gone from talks to advanced talks," said Villas-Boas.
"It is just a question of time, and the chairman will decide when it gets done."
Modric, who did not feature in any of Spurs' pre-season games, is expected to join the La Liga champions for a fee of £30m within the next 48 hours.
