Damien Comolli says that he is '90% sure' that Gareth Bale will stay at Tottenham Hotspur beyond this summer.

Former Tottenham Hotspur director Damien Comolli is confident that Gareth Bale will snub the opportunity of leaving White Hart Lane this summer.

The Wales international has been heavily linked with a switch to Real Madrid following his prolific season in North London, while Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain have also been touted as a future destination.

"I think that if PSG is aware that the player is on the market, I won't be surprised that they do everything in their power to sign him," Comolli told Telefoot, according to London 24.

"But today, there is a 90% chance that he will stay at Spurs. I know the president (chairman) of Spurs and how he works. Only three or four clubs can afford [Bale] right now."

The 23-year-old put pen to paper on a new long-term contract at Spurs last summer.
